  • Head Cook Position
    USD #452, Stanton County Schools is advertising for a head cook. Paid training prior to August 18, 2010. Candidates must have the ability to manage staff, plan cost effective nutritious monthly menus, order and inventory products, perform work involving physical strength and endurance, and work well around children of all ages. Must pass a Certification of Health (TB test and physical) by a licensed physician. Qualifications: High School diploma, computer skills to be able to work with food service software, pleasant attitude, ability to work without direct supervision, work cooperatively with building staff and other district personnel, knowledge of the English language, strong math skills to alter recipe quantities, and other duties/responsibilities as determined by the Board of Education. Benefits include KPERS retirement, participation in district health insurance, and paid leave. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
