To conclude our Make a Ripple in 7 Days Week, Mrs. C planned an assembly for the staff, students, and community. Students were asked to write a short piece about a community member that inspires them or who has made an impact on their life. The community members were invited to the assembly and were called up when the student read their piece. It was such a neat idea! Everyone was challenged to take the themes from the week and carry them onward. The 6th grade ambassadors presented their new recycling goal to the school. SCES will be recycling paper and aluminum cans. Students were able to fill a 60 gallon bag their first week!!! Keep it up SCES!!!
