Junior Sidney Park’s Clutch Hitting Propels SC Trojans to Victory  Over Elkhart

Sidney Parks drove in five runs on four hits to lead SC past Elkhart 18-8 on Friday.
Parks hit a home run to center field in the first scoring two, tripled in the second scoring
one, singled in the fourth scoring one, and doubled in the sixth scoring one.

led things off in the circle for SC. The starting pitcher allowed two hits and five runs

The Trojans accumulated 15 hits in the game. Martinez, Fehringer, Walton and Ortega
each collected multiple hits. Martinez and Waldron each stole multiple bases. SC ran
wild on the base paths, accumulating nine stole bases for the game.

Stanton County stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday.
Everything went their way against the Elkhart Wildcats as the Stanton County Trojans
made off with a 12-1 victory. Winning may never get old, but Stanton County sure is
getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Kynzi Fehringer made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single
earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Fehringer was also big at
the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lexy Martinez, who went 4-for-4 with
three runs, four RBI, and a stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at
least one stolen base the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference
was Hallie Waldron, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.

Stanton County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their
last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

evening. The Trojans ran the bases aggressively and smartly, which made the

two scores for the game. Freshman Jerzy Ochoa was on the mound for Stanton County
with Ella Krier ready to replace her before game was called because of time limit
reached. Junior Varsity remains undefeated for the season.
