Stanton County came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Sublette Larks as they made off with a 17-2 victory. While the Trojans didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Stanton County's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. 

Stanton County will host Hugoton at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
