Make It Three in a Row for Stanton County

Stanton County entered their tilt with Springfield on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Longhorns 7-5. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.
David Crane was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Crane was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Crane wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Eduardo Rodriguez, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
Stanton County now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Springfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
Stanton County will host Sublette at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
